CourtCrew Terms of Service
Effective Date: Oct 1, 2026
Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Penny Lane & Co LLC ("CourtCrew," "we," "us," or "our"), the Florida limited liability company that operates the CourtCrew app and website. By creating an account or using CourtCrew, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use CourtCrew.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to create a CourtCrew account or use the App. By using CourtCrew, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Your Account
You're responsible for providing accurate information when you create your account and for keeping it up to date. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials secure and telling us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Each person may maintain only one CourtCrew account. You may not create an account for anyone other than yourself, or impersonate another person or entity.
Subscriptions, Free Trial & Payments
CourtCrew offers a free tier and an optional paid CourtCrew Premium subscription at $4.99/month.
New subscribers get a 15-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically begins and you'll be charged $4.99/month.
Subscriptions automatically renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from within the App; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again after that.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't store your full card details.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
If you subscribe to CourtCrew Premium through the Apple App Store (in-app purchase) instead of through the web, that purchase, billing, and cancellation is instead handled by Apple and is subject to Apple's own App Store terms and refund policies, not this section.
User Conduct & Content
Your content. You retain ownership of the matches, photos, comments, messages, reviews, and other content you post on CourtCrew ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant CourtCrew a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute it within the App as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your match on the social feed to your followers).
Rules of conduct. When using CourtCrew, you agree not to:
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, in messages, comments, or any other feature
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent game listings, match results, or court reviews
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your skill level, identity, or affiliation
Post content that is unlawful, obscene, or infringes someone else's rights
Use CourtCrew to solicit, advertise, or spam other users
Attempt to interfere with, hack, or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
Moderation. We may review, remove, or restrict access to content or accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, though we're not obligated to monitor all content.
In-Person Meetups, Courts & Assumption of Risk
CourtCrew helps you find games, courts, and other players — but we don't organize, supervise, referee, or guarantee the safety of any game, meetup, or court. We don't conduct background checks or verify the identity, skill level, or intentions of other users.
You are solely responsible for your own safety when meeting other users, traveling to courts, and playing padel or pickleball. Playing racquet sports carries an inherent risk of physical injury. By using CourtCrew to arrange or join a game, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with meeting other users and participating in physical activity, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Court information (addresses, hours, pricing, amenities) is provided for convenience and may come from user reviews or third-party sources. We don't guarantee its accuracy and recommend confirming details directly with the venue before you go.
We strongly recommend using good judgment when meeting people you don't know — for example, meeting in public, well-lit courts and telling someone else your plans.
Third-Party Services
CourtCrew relies on third-party services to operate, including Stripe (payments), Firebase/Google (sign-in and infrastructure), and, for iOS users, Apple's App Store and In-App Purchase system. Your use of those services through CourtCrew is also subject to their own terms and policies (for example, Google's or Apple's terms when you sign in with Google or purchase a subscription through the App Store). We aren't responsible for the practices of these third-party services.
Intellectual Property
CourtCrew, its logo, and the CourtCrew app itself (excluding User Content) are owned by Penny Lane & Co LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App except as allowed by law.
You keep ownership of your own User Content, as described in "User Conduct & Content" above.
Termination
You may stop using CourtCrew and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or create risk or harm to CourtCrew, other users, or third parties. Where reasonably possible, we'll try to notify you if we take this step.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
CourtCrew is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that other users will behave appropriately.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Penny Lane & Co LLC and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including personal injury, property damage, or loss of data, arising from your use of CourtCrew, including from games, meetups, or interactions with other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to CourtCrew will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of CourtCrew will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
Changes to These Terms & Contact Us
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the App or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use CourtCrew after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
